London-based independent Cult Vision has partnered with an artist to launch a non-fungible token (NFT) collection inspired by vision and designed to spread optimism.
The When a Visionary Dreams NFT collection by Mamimu, a London-based Japanese artist, was inspired by a quote from author Jonathan Swift: ‘Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.’
Mamimu’s artwork will be shown on a 4K LED display in the Cult Vision window throughout the summer and a series of limited edition lens cloths have also been created.
Cult Vision and Mamimu previously collaborated on a widow installation that featured a collection of bright and bold prints based on the artist’s study of the Barbican building’s shapes and forms.
