Ascend Agency is working with Digital Music News to create opportunities for artists to be visible to the music industry.
In the last few months, we have seen top celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Shawn Mendes, The Weeknd, and Eminem launch their own NFTs, which has opened the music and entertainment world to many more opportunities. As the space continues to evolve and many more projects come up, famous rapper Anuel AA has also joined the list of artists who have created their own NFTs, making him one of the first Latin rappers to launch his own NFT collection.
This comes a few weeks after Anuel released the official video of his song “Si Tu Me Busca,” featuring Yailin La Más Viral. While the track was only released three weeks ago, it is a trending sound with over 28 million views on YouTube, adding to the top rapper’s many accomplishments. Anuel AA has written and composed three studio albums that have all hit number one on the Top Latin Albums chart. He has also been ranked in Billboard’s Top 100 artists.
Anuel is using his songs to share bits of his story as he brings positive change to the Puerto Rican music scene while encouraging other artists not to give up on their passions.
Anuel started his musical journey when he was only 14 years old. At the time, it was really hard to penetrate the industry, especially with no one to guide you. But he didn’t let all the challenges weigh him down. Anuel invested in his passion, and years later, he is one of the top Puerto Rican rappers with over 28 million followers on Instagram. He is also the first Latin artist to collaborate with the UFC, promoting a sports conceptual album.
His NFT collection will include physical assets and exclusive real-life experiences such as limited edition merchandise, access to album release parties, studio visits, listening sessions, and more.
His diversity as an artist and the great team behind him will make his NFT collection unique, driving positive change in the global music scene. Anuel’s father, Mr. Jose Gamzey, and Jofre Cruz of Entertainment Architects brought in Future Media’s Duquan Brown and Carrie Lyn of The Creative House to develop Anuel’s NFT collection.
As Anuel prepares to launch his first NFT collection mid this year, he is also working on his world tour, which is set to begin April 30th, 2022. He explains that with the launch of his NFTs, he will be able to gain more time with his fans, giving them a behind-the-scenes look into his music process.
